Declaration by George Jackson of the Navy Office, London, esq., that his name is used in an indenture dated 4 April 1764 between Griffith Speed of Wrexham, co. Denb., esq., of the first part; William Dix of the city of Chester, gent., of the second part; William Manley of Erbistock, co. Denb., of the third part and the said George Jackson of the fourth part, in trust only for Ann Edwards, the mother of William Manley and for William Manley. He also declares at the request of Ann Edwards and William Manley that the sum of £500, part of the sum of £1,000 mentioned in the indenture to be paid by him to Griffith Speed, is the proper money of the said Ann Edwards. The remaining £500 is the money of William Manley.
