The manuscripts and deeds were packed in three sections which are represented by the letters A, B and C in each individual shelfmark. Some of the deeds were also tied up in bundles numbered i-xvii and xx; numbers xviii and xix are two sets of loose documents. Nos xxi-xxxiv were old deed boxes in leather and wood, some rectangular and some cylindrical, while xxxv was a cardboard box.
