Bedwellte exchange

Deed of exchange between Lord Tredegar and the Ecclesiastical Commissioners for England, of 3,800 sq. yards adjoining the premises of the Tredegar Iron & Coal Co., to use as the site for a vicarage and garden, in exchange for 4,840 sq. yards of land of Cefn Rhychdir Farm, all in the parish of Tredegar St George, in the ancient parish of Bedwellte.

Pen rhiw gwaith (Bedwellte) deeds

Original bundle of deeds and papers relating to Pen Rhew Gwaith (93 a.) in the parish of Bedwellte, Monmouthshire, purchased by Sir Charles Morgan in 1834 from William Llewellyn, a prisoner for debt in the Fleet Prison, London, formerly of Argoed Mills in the parish of Mynyddislwyn, miller, dealer and chapman. The papers include an abstract of title, 1737-1830, copies of baptisms, marriages and burials of members of the Llewellyn family in the parish registers of Basaleg, Bedwas and Bedwellte, 1760-1831, and a map, 1834.
