Diary of Captain Edward Chapman Bradford of Trinity House recording his visits to lighthouses in Wales, Cornwall, Devon and Somerset, July-August 1825 (ff. 4-12). The volume also contains a letter, ?1825, from Bradford to his daughter Maria (f. 15) and, in a different hand, notes on various lighthouses and lightships in England, 1823-1824 (ff. 1-2, inverted text 12 recto-verso, 14 recto-verso, 18 recto-verso); an extract from a journal of Captain Wilbanks, [1823x1825] (inverted text f. 13); and observations of W. Jones, lieutenant of the Mermaid, on Fern [Farne] Islands, 1824 (ff. 2 verso-3 verso).
