Hugh Jones and company's account,

An account, being an inventory of the partnership estate and effects of Hugh Jones, gent. and company, who rented the ironworks [Machen Forge?] belonging to William Morgan of Tredegar, esq., until 4 May 1748, taken from the account of Samuel Pratt [d. c.1749-52], the cashier to the company and manager of the ironworks until 4 May 1748.

Machen forge ledger,

Ledger of debtors and creditors of Machen Forge, comprising workmen, suppliers and buyers, including a hammer man, finers, carpenter, stocktakers, smiths (including a forge smith), corder, carriers (including pig iron and charcoal carriers), hurdle maker, pensioners, clerk, colliers, stone coal risers, tiler, esq's and a sawyer. The accounts, with Messrs Thomas Morgan, esq., and Hugh Jones, were all settled on 4 May 1750, or carried forward to ledger no. 2 (not found).
