Name of creator
Arthur Foulkes-Roberts (1864-1941) of Denbigh was a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, Denbigh. He and his brother R.D. Roberts transcribed various parish registers, tombstone inscriptions, church memorials, probate, episcopal and diocesan records, mostly from Denbighshire and Flintshire.

Donated by Arthur Foulkes-Roberts' son, M.W. Foulkes-Roberts, Ledbury, Herefordshire, 1983.

Notebooks of A. Foulkes-Roberts, [c. 1882]-, containing extracts from parish registers, mainly from Denbighshire and Flintshire; transcripts of tombstone inscriptions and church memorials, copies of probate records from the Dioceses of Bangor and St Asaph, and the Principal Probate Registry; and notes and extracts from marriage licence bonds, clergy subscription books and other St Asaph diocesan records. The copies were made by A. Foulkes-Roberts and his brother R.D. Roberts.
