Scope and content
Settled accounts of John Ireland Storrar (1920-1938) with Lord Tredegar (1920-1933) and the trustees of the Tredegar settled estates (1934-1938) for the rents of the Glamorgan town estate, and casual receipts and promiscuous payments. -- The Glamorgan town estate was created in 1920 out of premises in the parishes of Eglwysilan, Gelli-gaer, Llys-faen, Peterston-super-montem, Rhydri, Rhyd-y-gwern and Whitchurch that had previously been part of the Glamorgan estate (AGR 3), plus the Pontypridd ground rents, which until 1919 had been included with the Cardiff ground rents (AGR 4). Thereafter the remainder of the Glamorgan estate was called the Glamorgan agricultural estate. In 1939 the Pontypridd ground rents returned to the books of the Cardiff ground rents.
