Grant by Thomas ap John ap Gwilim Herberd, son and heir of John ap Guilim Herbert, esq., to Thomas ap Thomas Vaughan of the parish of Christchurch and Marsile ap David ap Phelip Mc, daughter and heir of the said David of Wolfesnewton in the lordship of Uske and the heirs of the said Marsile, of a tenement and a parcel of mountain land (munede), with various parcels of land and meadow, with appurtenances formerly of William ap Ieuan, which tenement and parcels of land and meadow lie in breadth between the lands of Syeyll ap Gylberd on one side and the land of William ap John Owen on the other, one head abutting on the land of David ap Phelip and the other between two streams called Nant morys and Nant Tyre apocka, and the said meadow called Werloth Waythan lying there in breadth between the land of Seysyll ap Gylberd on both parts, one head abutting on the land of the said Seysyll and the other on Nant vorse, and the said parcel of Mountain lands (Munede) lying in length and extending in length from the spring called ffonnon Wynhayll on one head to and acre of land formerly of Seysyll Gylbert on the other, and in breadth lying between the Gayr Vowor and the land of John ap Jenkyn ap David on one side and the land of William ap John Owen and the land of David ap Phelip on the other; and to Thomas ap Thomas Vaughan, Merick ap David ap Phelip Mc daughter and heir of the said David, two parcels of land and meadow wood, with appurtenances of which one parcel lies there between the lands of the said Seysyll ap Gylbert on one side and the waste land of the lord on the other, one head abutting on the land of William ap John Owen and the other on the land of William ap Llewelin ap Grono; the other parcel of land lying there between the land called Tonne a Meyrght on one head and the lord's waste land on the other, in breadth between the lord's waste land on one side and the way which leads form Wolfesnewton to Kayr Vawour on the other. Rent: 12d. per annum at the Annunciation and Michaelmas, suit of court at the court of grantor at Wolfesnewton and relief on alienation or sale.
