Sermons and sermon notes, 1843-1863, by Evan Lewis, Congregational minister at Brynberian, Pembrokeshire, with some notes of sermons heard by him, 1840.
Two sermons, one in Welsh by the Reverend Lewis Evans, preached at Llanfihangel-y-Creuddyn, Eglwys Newydd and Llanfihangel Genau'r-glyn, 1798-1812 (ff. 1-10) (see also NLW MSS 22131C, 22141B), the other preached at Llangorwen and Borth, co. Cardigan, 1874-1875.
A note-book possibly in the hand of the Reverend John Evans, Baptist minister, best known as John Evans, Abercannaid, Merthyr. The contents consist entirely of sermon notes, 1827-1829 and undated. Inset are loose items, including a note addressed by D. Rhys Stephen, from Abertawy, to the Reverend John Evans, [18]31 (accompanying a copy of a three-stanza hymn by John Morris, headed 'Hymn dduwiol a gyfansoddwyd i'r Parch. Mr. Davies, Alltwen'), and further sermon notes, [18]44 and [18]67, bearing the initials 'J.E.'., or the signature 'John Evans'.
A manuscript containing a sermon preached, 1843-1860, at various places in Radnorshire, together with a note on a clerical meeting at Bangor Teifi Church, 1865.
'Scrapiana', or cuttings from newspapers, both Welsh and English, collected by Charles Ashton. The cuttings, ranging from 1884 to 1890, are from Y Dydd, Gwalia, Cambrian News, Liverpool Daily Post, Tit-bits, Y Drych, The Welsh Farmers' Gazette, Liverpool Weekly Mercury, Wellington Journal, Y Llan, Oswestry Advertizer, and the Montgomeryshire Express.
Poetry, masques, short plays, memoranda, etc. by 17th century members of the Salusbury family of Llewenni, Denbighshire, in particular Sir John Salusbury (1567-1612), Sir Henry Salusbury (1589-1632), first baronet, and Sir Thomas Salusbury (1612-1643), second baronet, whose poem 'History of Joseph' was published in 1636.
Two account books of John Davies, auctioneer, of Talley, Carmarthenshire, 1853-1858, and an account book of Thomas Griffiths, Penrhiwgeingen, Talley, and John Davies, 1862-1865, containing accounts with individual purchasers at specified local sales, e.g. of timber at Pwllfa and Cwmgelynyn, parish of Caeo, and at Maes-pwll, parish of Pencarreg.
An account book of an agricultural sale (livestock, implements, etc.) at Waunfawr, parish of Caron Isclawdd, co. Cardigan, 1874, together with later accounts, partly unrelated, to 1877. Laid down on the inside upper cover are printed conditions of sale, witnessed by David Williams, clerk to the Board of Guardians [of the Tregaron Union].

A transcript in the hand of Roger Morris (fl. 1590), Coed y Talwrn, Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd of the herbal generally attributed to William Salesbury (1520?-1600?), joint-translator of the New Testament and of the Book of Common Prayer into Welsh, 1567. This volume provides an earlier transcript than the 18th century copy in the hand of Evan Thomas (d. 1781), Cwmchwylfod, near Bala, which belonged later to John Peter (Ioan Pedr) (1833-1877) and which was edited by E. Stanton Roberts and published under the title of Llysieulyfr Meddyginiaethol a briodolir i William Salesbury ... (Liverpool, 1916).

Notebook of Henry Harris, Ystrad Rhondda, begun in 1921, containing lists of place-names and field names in the Rhondda. Some of the names are taken from a tithe map of 1847 (ff. i, 1-51). Also included is a typescript list of the same place-names, on loose sheets, the names numbered and in alphabetical order (ff. 52-98); typescript and manuscript notes, [?1938], on the Rhondda in the year 1737, including transcripts of Overseers of the Poor accounts (ff. 103-109); notes, 1938, relating to bird life in the Rhondda (f. 110); and three letters to Harris, October 1921-May 1928, including two from M. H. Jones, Penllwyn (ff. 99-102).
