A notebook containing pedigrees (Rhodri Mawr, Rhys ap Tewdwr etc.), with details concerning the registers of Llanmaes, 1920, in another hand, and a note in pencil by J. R. Hughes (p. [37]). It also contains a copy by J. R. Hughes, 1946, of a deed dated 21 Feb. 1692[/3] relating to properties in the townships of Weston Rhyn and Ifton Rhyn in the parish of St Martins, Shropshire, and the beginning of a transcript by J. R. Hughes of notes on the Quakers in Wales by Richard Jones, Pant-y-Rhedn, Stay-a-Little, Llanbrynmair. The original notes are with the transcript and are not as incomplete as J. R. Hughes supposed (almost 200pp.). In addition to the material relating to the Quakers there are some miscellaneous items, including a brief account (in Welsh) of the Rev. Joseph Thomas, Carno.
