Powysland inquisitions, &c.

A volume of certified copies of records housed in the Public Record Office [now The National Archives], London, including transcripts of charter rolls, inquisitions and final concords, mostly relating to Gruffudd ap Gwenwynwyn, Lord of Powys, and his descendants.
The documents were reproduced as an appendix to G. T. O. Bridgeman's article 'The Princes of Upper Powys', in Montgomeryshire Collections, 1 (1868), 104-194.

South Wales inquisitions, &c.

A volume consisting of certified copies and extracts from miscellaneous records, including inquisitions post mortem dated between 30 Henry III and 23 Henry VI, relating to the princes of South Wales, more especially the Royal House of Dinefwr, some of which was used as source material by G. T. O. Bridgeman for his History of the Princes of South Wales (Wigan, 1876).

A notebook containing a transcript of Peniarth MS 236B (Hengwrt MS 119) in the hand of G. T. O. Bridgeman, consisting of copies of charters, grants, pleas, etc.

Welsh charters and other documents, Vol. II

A notebook containing transcripts of records relating to Wales, mainly temp. Edward I, consisting of charters, pleas and inquisitions from sources such as Rotuli Parliamentorum ..., 6 vols, (London, [n. d.]) and Foedera conventiones litterae ..., ed. Thomas Rymer, 4 vols (London, 1816-1818), I-II. Many of the items relate to Rhys ap Maredudd, Lord of Dryslwyn, former collaborator with the English Crown, later to be responsible for the revolt of 1287-1288 (see Ralph A. Griffiths, 'The Revolt of Rhys ap Maredudd, 1287-88', in Welsh History Review, 3 (1966), 121-143.

Wynn of Gwydir heraldry and memoranda

Colour illustrations of armorial bearings, seals, memorial inscriptions and memoranda relating to the Wynn of Gwydir family added to a copy of Sir John Wynn, The History of the Gwydir Family (Ruthin, 1827). Inserted on f. 11 are two original items in the hand of Sir John Wynn, one of which is a transcript of a letter from Henry III to Llywelyn ab Iorwerth.
