The file contains voting cards, ballot lists, nomination lists and correspondence relating to the election of members, 1979-1980. Those elected were Brian Morris, Don Dale Jones, Alun Rees, John L. Hughes, Ewart Alexander, Sian James and William Canaway. Ron Berry, Bryn Griffiths, Dai Smith, Richard Vaughan and Hilda Vaughan were also elected and invited to join the Academi but their responses to the invitation have not been noted in this file.
