A small group of papers, 1939-[2013], relating to Dylan Thomas and his third book, a volume of poetry and prose entitled The map of love (London, 1939), comprising four autograph letters, March-August 1939, from the author to the publishers, J. M. Dent & Sons Ltd; carbon copies of letters, 1939, from the editorial, production, and publicity departments at J. M. Dent & Sons Ltd; photocopies, [1990x2013], of most of the aforementioned letters; and a proof copy and file copy of the published work, the latter containing manuscript amendments and additions in an unidentified hand.

2014 Donation: Diaries,

Journals of Winifred Coombe Tennant, 1897-1908 (1 vol.) and 1909-55, with her observations on her war work, public life and politics. Peter Lord (editor) used these for Between two worlds: the diary of Winifred Coombe Tennant, 1909-1924 (Aberystwyth, 2011).

2014 Donation,

Additional material consisting of letters, articles, reviews, and programmes of Daniel Jones.

2015 Donation

Correspondence, mainly relating to contributions, subscriptions and comments made to Planet between 1984 and 2007. The majority are addressed to John Barnie as editor. Some earlier letters are addressed to Ned Thomas and Gwen Davies. The correspondents included are similar to those in Files 40-52. Also included are some copies of articles, poems, etc. as proposed contributions.

2015 donation

Archives of Shelter Cymru ca. 1986-2015 reflecting the work of the organisation in campaigning, researching and advocacy around issues related to homelessness and housing. The archive contains a number of publications as well as item such as banners, t-shirts and badges.

The group consists of documents, publications, and campaign material of the Labour Party in Wales, 1946-2011, containing minute books, election manifestos, correspondence, notes, policy documents, annual reports, and press cuttings; also campaign material and ephemera such as leaflets, posters, booklets, memorabilia and campaign cards.
