Autograph album, 1866-1868, belonging to the journalist John Griffith (Gohebydd), compiled during visits to Reconstruction Era America to report for Baner ac Amserau Cymru. The album contains eighty-four signatures and inscriptions, mainly by Senators and other senior politicians and social reformers (ff. 3-49).
The signatories include the future Presidents James A. Garfield (f. 32) and U[lysses] S. Grant (f. 37), future Vice-Presidents Tho[mas] A. Hendricks (f. 7) and Schuyler Colfax (f. 26), Secretary of War Edwin M. Stanton (f. 36), presidents pro-tem of the Senate L[a] F[ayette] S. Foster (f. 19) and B[enjamin] F. Wade (f. 22), the abolitionists and social reformers Frederick Douglass (f. 38), Wendell Phillips (f. 45) and Anna E. Dickinson (f. 46), the actor James E. Murdoch (f. 41) and the writer R[alph] Waldo Emerson (f. 43). A few autographs are of Welshmen (ff. 44, 49).

Two travel journals, 1800-1802, of the Rev. Thomas Prior, Fellow of Trinity College, Dublin, describing tours of parts of North East Wales and the North of England, 1800 (NLW MS 24171iB), and North Wales, 1802 (NLW MS 24171iiB), together with a fragment of an Italian journal in an unknown hand, [1822] (NLW MS 24171iiiB).
Thomas Prior became a Doctor of Divinity in 1805, and was Vice-Provost of Trinity College 1832-1833 and 1840-1843.

Manuscript music, 1982-1983, of three pieces by the Jazz pianist Dill Jones, namely 'Lady Wendy' (lyrics by Malcolm Barron), 'Maybe I'll be yours (once again)' (lyrics by Malcolm Barron) and 'No flowers for my lady' (lyrics by Tim Willis), together with photocopies of the scores.

Manuscripts, 1827-1875, from the library of G. T. O. Bridgeman, including heraldic material, etc., relating to the Wynn family of Gwydir, and also transcripts of charters and public records.

Gwili Jenkins entered in the National Eisteddfod held at Llandudno in 1896, including two letters from Gwili, [1912], to the family of J. R.Owen, Gyfelog, Bwlchdewin, Porthmadog, one of them is written on headed notepaper [Gwynfryn School, Ammanford].

A collection of ephemera and papers relating to Sister Florence Mulfra Williams (1902-1983) of London, originally of Swansea, Glamorgan, who served during the Second World War in Queen Alexandra’s Imperial Military Nursing Service (QAIMNS), and was one of the first nurses to enter Bergen-Belsen concentration camp after its liberation in April 1945.

A manuscript music book of popular songs originally belonging to William Williams, cabinet maker, including ballads and operatic pieces such as The Highland Laddie and Robin Hood. The volume then passed on into the possession of Thomas Llewelyn, Newbridge.

Papers donated by the Aberystwyth, Pontypridd and Cardiff branches of Welsh Women's Aid. They include material relating to the constitution, corporate structure, strategic development and codes of practice of Welsh Women's Aid; records of its Management Committee and of numerous departmental meetings; internal and external correspondence; accounting, fundraising and other administrative papers; material celebrating Welsh Women's Aid's twenty-first, twenty-fifth and fortieth anniversaries; and individual branch archives of Welsh Women's Aid, all of which reference the issues affecting women and their children who access Women's Aid, such as domestic violence, social welfare and law and legislation.

There is considerable overlap of subject-matter within sections of the archive: for example, corporate and work reports, statistics and questionnaires, as well as material relating to violence against women, children/families, housing and benefits appear under multiple sections, while records of individual group meetings such as Employment and Finance or material relating to accounts, conferences, training courses, etc frequently appear under details of Management Committee meetings, Annual Reviews and so forth.

A scrapbook relating to the career of Welsh soprano Madame Amy Evans (1884-1983), containing press cuttings and papers, 1910-1923, mostly concerning a tour of Australia and New Zealand in 1920-1921, all pre-dating her move to the USA with husband Fraser Gange in 1923. Also, an envelope containing various letters of correspondence, 'englynion', and additional press cuttings again relating to the pre-USA careers of both Amy Evans and Fraser Gange.

Papers of the writer, poet, and literary editor Greg Hill (1949-), including personal and editorial correspondence from various poets and literary figures mainly from Wales and of Welsh interest, and related papers (1952; 1980-2010); papers relating to both published and some unpublished works, including poems, essays, translations, and typescripts (1930-2012); papers relating to the journal Materion Dwyieithiog/Bilingual Matters published by the Media Studies Group, Coleg Ceredigion, including correspondence and typescripts (1989-1992); reviews and press cuttings from various literary journals of Welsh interest (1977-2021); and papers relating to the organisation of the ‘Poets on Poets’ event at Coleg Harlech (1993-1994).

A binder containing various documents relating to Kanonier Obergefreiter Kurt Kruger, a WWII Luftwaffe P.O.W held at Camp 70 in Henllan, Pembrokeshire, 1946-1948. Includes Kruger's 'Soldbuch', the standard identity document in the German military. Also includes December 1947 issue of 'Der Wegweiser' (The Signpost) from Henllan Camp, as well as Kruger's certificate of discharge, certificate of registration, ID document for foreigners in Britain, work permit, and passport (1968-1973).

Papers of Sharon Penman, [c.1982]-2021, relating to the writing and publication of her Welsh princes trilogy ('Here Be Dragons', 'Falls the Shadow' and 'The Reckoning'), including research papers, drafts of the novels and associated correspondence, publicity material and reviews, as well as a small amount of ephemera relating to her other work.

Five manuscripts formerly in the Duke of Newcastle's library at Clumber Park, Nottinghamshire, comprising genealogies of North Wales families; texts from the Alexander cycle and the Historia Regum Britanniae of Geoffrey of Monmouth; a transcript of Rice Merrick's 'Morganiae Archaiographia'; and volumes in the hands of John Prise of Brecon and Hereford, grandson of Sir John Prise (1502?-1555), and of Thomas Prise, Wistaston, Herefordshire, probably grandson of the former.

Deeds, documents, and papers, 1621-1831 (largely middle-late 17th century), acquired by Kyrle Fletcher mostly relating to Monmouthshire. The main group relates to the Jones family of Llanarth, Monmouthshire, 1621-early 19th century, and includes some items relating to the Civil War. Minor groups of deeds, documents and papers concern the Nicholas family of Lansoy and Penrose, Monmouthshire, 17th century, and the Evans family of St Mellons, Monmouthshire, and Llanedern and Whitchurch, Glamorgan, late 18th-early 19th centuries.
