The file comprises handwritten and typed notes, sketch maps, printed pamphlets, correspondence, newsletters, newspaper and magazine articles, covering various topics of Welsh history, ancient monuments, local historical attractions, legends, traditions, crafts, industry, transport, archaeology, architecture, ancient herbals, ornithology, botany, geology, the Welsh landscape, destruction of scenic areas and the need for their conservation.
