Abstracts prepared for Robert Owen, Croesor, of wills proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, including those of Richard Whitford, priest, 14 February, 1510/11, and Rees Vaughan ap William of Corsygedol, parish of Llanthoywey, deanery of Arddudwy, 8 August, 1580; similar abstracts of proceedings in the Court of Star Chamber relating to the counties of Caernarvon and Denbigh, temp. Elizabeth-James I; and a list by Robert Owen of late seventeenth and early eighteenth century probate records, in the diocesan registries of Bangor and St. Asaph, of persons in Llandderfel, Corwen, Llandrillo in Edernion, Gwythelwern, Llansanffraid [Glyndyfrdwy], and Llangar, Merioneth.

A typescript copy of a report to the Caernarvonshire Rural Community Council of a survey of Caernarvonshire conducted by Mr. Robert Owen, O.B.E., M.A., Croesor, during the period 19 January to 22 June, 1934.

The file comprises draft and printed articles, notes, species lists, survey sheets, radio and television scripts, questionnaires, press cuttings, maps and correspondence relating to wildlife in general and British mammals, particularly badgers, bats, dormice, otters, polecats and pine martens, rabbits and hares, seals and squirrels.
