A collection of anthems and choruses by David Roberts, Bethesda, 1851, Griffith Rowlands ['Asaph'], Bethesda, J[ohn] Ambrose Lloyd, Edward Stephen ['Tanymarian'], and John Fawcett.

Cerddoriaeth

A composite volume of music, consisting of an imperfect copy of a collection of tunes published by H. Humphreys, Caernarvon, Original Sacred Music by John [David] Edwards, Oxford, and a manuscript collection including tunes by J[oseph] D[avid] Jones, W. J. White, J[ohn] A[mbrose] Lloyd, Thomas Miles (a prize tune at Llanfyllin Eisteddfod, Christmas, 1857), and D[avid] Roberts, Bethesda ['Alawydd']. The last item is 'Hen Wlad fy Nhadau'.

An extensive collection of hymn-tunes begun by Thomas Jones at the age of twenty-three, in 1841. A large number of the signed tunes are by John Ambrose Lloyd. Other composers represented are J. Hughes [Allt-lwyd], R[obert] J[ohn] Pryse ['Gweirydd ap Rhys'], C. Jones, R. Williams, D. Williams, W[illiam] Owens [or Owen], W. Pritchard, R. Griffith, R[osser] Beynon ['Asaph Glan Taf'], D[avid] J[enkin] [Dafydd Siencyn] Morgan, W. Griffith, D[avid] Roberts ['Alawydd'] and D[avid] Hughes ['Cristiolus Môn']; and examples of Welsh hymns.

Tune book,

A copy of David Roberts, Gramadeg Cerddorol, yn gynwysedig mewn tair rhan (Bala, 1848), bound with two further sections of printed hymn-tunes and anthems taken from unidentified sources, and followed by a manuscript tune book (ff. 13 verso-40), second half of the nineteenth century, containing hymn-tunes, with some accompanying Welsh words.
