Letter from Mrs Hampton Lewis, Holyhead,

Biographical notes on Thomas Lewis Hampton, of the 5th Dragoon Guards who fought in the Crimean War, was present at the Charge of the Light Brigade and was awarded the Crimean medal.

Favourable comments on S. J. Evans' work on history and antiquites of Anglesey, suggesting that recipient would be suitable person to establish 'Anglesey Antiquarian Society and Field Club', and commenting on items of antiquarian interest.
