A thin notebook containing englynion, etc. on Biblical subjects and on subjects of Anglesey interest e.g. 'Y Gledrffordd i Lanerchymedd'. Three of the englynion, on the inside upper and lower covers, are attributed to 'Maudwy', but the remainder are anonymous.

Transcripts of poems by Evan Lloyd (1734-1776) entitled 'The Methodist' and 'The Curate', and of various 'cywyddau', etc., mainly written to members of the Rhiwaedog family; 'Englynion ar Ymadawiad Miss Parry o'r Bala' and other poems by Gwrtheyrn; etc.

Miscellaneous papers, home-made booklets, etc., containing various items in the hand of Edward Williams ('Iolo Morganwg') bound together in one volume. A considerable part of the volume is devoted to extracts from the Old and New Testaments in English and Welsh (sometimes grouped together as illustrative of specified ideas or subjects - 'Iesu Grist yn Ddyn', 'Iesu Grist yn ddarostyngedig i'r Tad', 'Aberth Crist', 'Divine Unity', etc.) and lists of textual references from the two Testaments grouped under headings such as 'Mab Duw', 'Mab y Dyn', 'Meibion Duw', 'Iachawdwriaeth', 'Satan', 'Yspryd Glân', 'Crist', and similar topics. Other items in the volume, pagination in brackets, include a transcript of an 'englyn' (this item possibly in the hand of Edward Williams's son Taliesin Williams) and an extract from [William] Warrington [: The History of Wales] relating to the Welsh in the time of Giraldus Cambrensis (10-11); a list in Welsh of the rules of the South Wales Unitarian Society ('Rheolau a Threfniadau Cymdeithas Dwyfundodiaid Deheubarth Cymru a gyttunwyd arnynt gan Henuriaid y Gymdeithas yn eu Cyfarfod Cyffredinol yn y Gelli Onnen ym Morganwg arddydd Gwener yr wythfed o Fis Hydref yn y Flwyddyn 1802') with an introductory note on the aims of the society (159-74); a list of the names of people ? connected with, or members of, the aforementioned Unitarian Society (175-7); a brief list of expressions or sayings in Welsh attributed to Charles Winter [Arminian Baptist] minister at Craig Fargod [co. A notebook of William Davies, Froodvale (Ffrwdfâl), bound in brown paper and inscribed 'W. Davies, Ph. D. April 12, 1846'. It contains extracts from expositary notes on scripture and notes of sermons, 1846-9 and undated, preached at Park[-y-rhos], Crug[-y-bar], Esger[dawe] and Rhydybont Congregational churches and at farmhouses called Penrhiwe and Tynypyllau in the Cynwyl Gaeo area, Carmarthenshire; poetry in Welsh and English, 1847 and undated, titles which include: 'To Rev. D[avid] E[vans, rector of] Kilgerran', 'On the Marriage of Rev. M. A volume containing a dictionary of rhymes (i.e. lists of Welsh words arranged according to word endings e.g. adafaela, adara, ... ysgwyddwisg, yswythbysg) in the hand of Evan Evan ('Ieuan Glan Geirionydd'). Beginning at the end of the volume are a list, in the same hand, of selections from the New Testament appropriate for reading on specified Sundays, and a draft of a 'pryddest', 1 December 1885, on 'Dyffryn Conwy' by 'Hanesydd' i.e. William John Roberts ('Gwilym Cowlyd') composed for an eisteddfod at Llanrwst. 'Trysorfa'r Bardd', being a holograph collection of poetry in strict and free metres, almost entirely in Welsh, by David Saunders, otherwise Dafydd ab Domos Saunders, otherwise 'Dafydd Glan Teifi' (1769-1840), Baptist minister successively at Aberdyar, Carmarthenshire and Merthyr Tudful, Glamorganshire. At the beginning is an incomplete address to the reader ('Llythr at y Darllenydd') and a list of contents ('Tabl Cynnwyssiad y Llyfr'). The volume was begun at the author's home at Undergrove [Lampeter, Cardiganshire], Christmas day 1798, and was completed about 1822.

A volume of Welsh poetry, c. 1777-1803, in free and strict metres by, and probably in the autograph of, Dafydd Jones, who is styled here variously as Dafydd Jones, Book Binder, 'Dafydd Ioan Deudraeth' and 'Dafydd Deudraeth' [i.e. 'Dafydd Siôn Siâms; 1743-1831]. The contents include 'carolau plygain', 'Can o alarus Brofiad y Prydydd ar farwolaeth ei wraig a gladdwyd ..... 1786', 'Awdl ir Gwirionedd yr hyn ydoedd brif Destyn Eisteddfod y Beirdd ynhrêf Llanrwst Mihefin 14 1791', and an elegy on the death of Rob[er]t Roberts [Clynnog].
