Notes, 18/19 cents, on various theological doctrines and quotations from the works of English theologians mostly in the hand of the Reverend John Davies of Llansamlet (1740-1821).

A letter dated 1 March 1624 from the Reverend Griffith Williams (afterwards Bishop of Ossory) to Sir John Wynne, Bart, of Gwydir.

A volume which appears to be the manuscript collated by Lewis Morris in Cwrtmawr MS 14, which at the time of collation (1726) was complete; ff. 1-20 fragmentary.

A volume containing a collection of seventeen carvals copied 1836-1838 by more than one hand, one of the scribes being John Skillicorn, a miner of Laxey; five of the works are stated to have been composed by John Lewin of Lonan in 1798 and five of the pieces were printed in Carvalyn Gailckagh (Peel, 1891).

Manuscript, in Welsh, in the hand of Edward Jones (Bardd y Brenin) (1752-1824) which contains the statute of Gruffydd ap Cynan regarding poetry and music (pp. 15-30), together with miscellaneous sketches.

A fragment of a history of Ireland, in English, beginning lost, extending from Fenius Farsa down to the English invasion; appended is a long chronological poem in Irish.

A note by W. M. Hennessy at the beginning states: 'A fragment of a Romantic Tale written in the early part of the 18th cent. recounting the adventures of a person named Cod in Greece, Germany, Norway and other countries'; beginning lost.

A fairly complete copy (1751) of Geoffrey Keating's (c. 1569-c. 1644) Forus Feasa ar Éirinn (History of Ireland), 17 cent., in the hand of Daniel O'Bryan; edges very badly frayed.

A manuscript transcript, [1686], of Geoffrey Keating's (c. 1569-c. 1644) Forus Feasa ar Éirinn [History of Ireland] (published c. 1634), mostly in the hand of the poet and scribe Eoghan Ó Caoimh (Owen O’Keefe, 1656-1726).
The beginning of the preface and the end of the original transcript are lost; the end has been supplied, [c. 1790], by a second scribe, who has also added a poem on the principal events of Irish history from the Psalter of Cashel. [The date 1790 appears on lib. ii, p. 161.]

A volume containing miscellaneous Irish prose and poetry, including a forus focal (p. 1), the stories of the Battle of Cnucha (p. 8), the Battle of Magh Leana (p. 43), the Children of Uisneach (p. 92), the Battle of Clondarf (p. 121), the Battle of Mucramha (p. 205) and the Pursuit of Diarmuid and Grainne (p. 298), and poetry (pp. 146-204) which is almost exclusively Ossianic; the volume also includes other poetical and historical pieces, as well as conversation lessons in Irish (p. 363) and a collection of proverbs and sayings (p. 413).

A manuscript in the hand of Concubhar O Maille (Cornelius O'Malley), Kilkee (1829) which largely consists of the Agallamh Oisin agus Phattruig but which also includes poetry and prose works, an elegy on the death of Seumus MacCoitir (p. 250) and an Irish grammar (p. 258) from the original of Aodh Buidhe Mac Cruitin (McCurtin) (Paris, 1732) which has been revised and improved by Concubhar O Maille.

A volume containing a collection of poetry by Eoghan Ruadh O'Suiliobhain, James MacConnsadin, Seaghan Clarach ó'Domhnaill and others, including the Ossianic poem An Tseilg mar aithris Oisin do naomh Padraig, with English rendering, all copied, 1827, by Seumas Best of Kilkee, co. Clare (aged 23); an index to the poetry appears on p. 338.

A volume containing a collection of the Lays of Ossian, comprising 1091 stanzas, copied, 1844, for the Reverend Joseph Baylee, Woodside, Liverpool by James Sullivan, who received one pound sterling for his labour.

A volume consisting chiefly of Irish poetry, written and translated for the Reverend Joseph Baylee, founder of Saint Aidan's College, Birkenhead, by James O'Sullivan, Headford, Co. Galway, 15 December 1849.

A collection of Irish poems and songs in three books of various sizes. The first book consists of a collection of songs, some accompanied by musical notation, chiefly by Seaghan O Duibhir an Ghleanna, Tagdh Gaodhalach and Eoghan Ruadh O Suiliobhain; the second book consists of a collection of Irish minstrelsy written for the Reverend Joseph Baylee, M.A., incumbent of Holy Trinity Church, Woodside, Cheshire, the chief writers being Seumas O Caoindealbhain, Eoghan Ruadh O Suiliobhain and Tadhg O Suiliobhain; the third book consists of miscellaneous verses transcribed by James Sullivan at Liverpool, 1841, for the Reverend Joseph Baylee and contains poems by James Sullivan, elegies on various members of the O'Sullivan family, two pieces by Eoghan Ruadh O Suiliobhain, etc.
