The file contains brief outline speech notes in the hand of Dr Roderic Bowen prepared for delivering addresses on social and political occasions.

The file comprises drafts of, and notes for, speeches by Lord Cledwyn and miscellaneous typescript memoranda. The papers include a detailed listing of Lord Cledwyn's contributions in the House of Lords between 1990 and 1998.

Talks and lectures

The series consists of drafts of talks given by Menna Gallie to various societies on a number of subjects, [1940]-[1990], such as childhood memories, memories of Ystradgynlais, Creunant and the surrounding area, experiences in Northern Ireland, America and Cambridge, experiences gained whilst in Italy and Yugoslavia, and talks on her own writing.

The Edmwnd Prys Tercentenary

Letters received by Albert Owen Evans in connection with his work and writings in preparation for the tercentenary celebration, 1924, of the death of Edmwnd Prys, translator of the metrical psalms into Welsh, with copies of programmes, of addresses and sermons delivered on the occasion of the tercentenary, and of articles and booklets prepared by A. O. Evans.
