Poetry by, and in the autograph of, the Reverend H. R. Williams ('Llwydrudd'), Corris, and press cuttings of some of his works, including an essay on old Merioneth poets ('Hen Feirdd Meirion'). Among the poems is an elegy entitled 'Pryddest Goffa i'r diweddar Mr. Richard James, Painter, Talybont', submitted to an eisteddfod held at Tabernacle Baptist Chapel, Tal-y-bont, Cardiganshire, 1925.

A collection entitled 'Casgliad o hên Gerddi difyr a digri', being transcripts, with annotations, by J. H. Davies from manuscript and printed sources, notably NLW Add. The volume also contains anonymous poems and a list of 'Cerddi'r Te' or ballads based on the general introduction of tea-drinking into Wales. At the end there are an index of first lines of the poems included in the volume, an index of authors and a calendar of the contents of NLW Add. MS 9. The collection was compiled approximately during February - July 1902.
