A volume, compiled December 1797, in the hand of William Owen Pughe (1759-1835), consisting of an introduction followed by a long vocabulary of Irish words with Welsh equivalents. In a note by George Chalmers, F.S.A. (p. 4), it is said that the book was intended for the fourth volume of the Welsh Archaiology.

A volume containing a copy, probably made by S. S. Banks (whose name appears on p. 3), of a journal of a tour in Wales and England, 1767-1768, which contains a great deal of useful information. Whilst at Edwinsford, Carmarthenshire, the writer excavated a tumulus on Llansadwrn mountain (p. 71) and at Downing, Flintshire, he stayed with Thomas Pennant.

A collection of inscriptions and notes by John Rowland (Giraldus), 19 cent., in pencil, from churches in Pembrokeshire.

A volume containing a 19th century transcript of the court roll book of Tenby, Pembrokeshire, 1606-1617. This copy was apparently made by Sir Thomas Phillipps.

A bundle of miscellaneous papers which include a printed ballad entitled Hanes Bywyd Dafydd Ionawr, printed 1801; a photograph of the writing of David Jones of Llanwrda; and evidence relating to the extension of the Carmarthen and Cardigan Railway, 1863.

A volume containing a collection of transcripts of Welsh poetry from the British Museum and Peniarth collections made by Howel W. Lloyd (1816-1893), many of the poems having been printed in the History of Powys Fadog by J. Y. W. Lloyd, 1881-1887; the writer has added collations to some of the poems and has contributed many historical notes.

A volume containing correspondence, 1826-1827, between the Rev. Howell Holland Edwards (d. 1846) and Miss Sarah Williams concerning the library of her father, the Rev. John Williams of Llanrwst (1760-1826), and his collection of Wynn (of Gwydir) papers; also letters, 1827, to the Rev. Holland Edwards from John Jones, Llanrwst, relating to the sale of the same library and a letter, 1894, from the Rev. D. J[ones] Davies asking Sir John Williams (1840-1926) to accept the Wynn (of Gwydir) papers.

A volume containing a copy of a work on the parishes of Anglesey by the Rev. Henry Rowlands, author of Mona Antiqua, and other works. This copy was transcribed by 'G. M.' [William Morgan] in 1726 and was printed, with a translation, in the Arch. Camb., 1st Series, vols I-IV. At the end of the volume (p. 143) there is a tract entitled Bellum Mariscum, which was not published in the Arch. Camb.

A copy of Rhys Jones, Gorchestion Beirdd Cymru ... (1773), with manuscript notes by Edward Charles. Bound with the volume is a manuscript collection of verse in Welsh and English in several hands of the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century, the greater part appearing to have been written by Thomas Humphreys in London. The poems include Cerdd Rowland o'r Pandy i'w gariad, Cywydd marwnad Rhisiart Morys ..., Englynion i'r Eos ... (Caerwys Eisteddfod), and cerddi, cywyddau and englynion by Robert Williams, Thomas Humphreys, Sion ap Rhisiart, Sion Owen o Egryn, Richard Williams, Ed[ward] Puw, Llywelyn Ddu, Mathew Owen, Pedr Gwilym, Iorwerth ap Ioan, Robert Evans, Robyn Ddu, Hugh Llwyd Cynfel, R. O. Ragad, Sion Gwilym, Rhys Jones o'r Blaenau, Rissiart Jones Trefdraeth ym Mon, Simwnt Fychan, Dafydd Ellis, y Parchedig Sion Morgan, Jonnathan Huws, Iorwerth Gwilym o Forganwg, Elis Cadwa[ladr] and Evan Evans.

Eleven volumes of music manuscripts of the harpist Thomas David Llewelyn (Llewelyn Alaw), Aberdare. The former NLW MS 328D has been added to NLW MS 337D and is now pp. 320-353 of that manuscript.

The 'Collection of Unpublished Welsh Airs' made by Thomas D. Llewelyn (Llewelyn Alaw), Aberdare, which won the prize at the Llangollen Eisteddfod of 1858.

A collection of englynion, elegies, etc. in Welsh, apparently in the hand of Robert Hughes, 1739.

A manuscript containing miscellaneous poetry in different hands, the earlier part c. 1710-1720; englynion and fragments of verse have been scribbled in the blank margins of the volume throughout. The manuscript also contains various extracts, notes, etc. Pagination is incorrect (see under Nifer Dail).
