The file mainly consists of correspondence between Don Dale-Jones and Glyn Jones, 1987-1989, mostly regarding the anthology; with a typescript draft of the foreword, 1980; and typescript copies of the contents and introduction to the work, entitled 'Selected poems', by Don Dale-Jones, 1985 and 1987. In addition, the file contains a programme of the Theatr Clwyd Company production 'My People', 1980, based on Caradoc Evans's short stories, which includes an extract from The dragon has two tongues; and printed notes regarding the television series 'The dragon has two tongues', 1985.

The file also includes a cutting from The Anglo Welsh Review of a review of the book ([?1984]); a questionnaire filled in by Ben G. Jones of The Honourable Society of Cymmrodorion, about the life and work of Llewelyn Wyn Griffith ([?1980x1984]); copies of letters (1930-1931) to Gerald Hayes and to Llewelyn Wyn Griffith from Walter de la Mare (4); page proofs, (1983 and [1983]), with some corrections; a press cutting ([1983]); cuttings from British Book News (1984) and Llais Llyfrau (1987), including reviews of the publication by Roland Mathias and R. The Writing in Wales Welsh Academy resource pack for schools was published in 1986 with the support of the Welsh Arts Council and the assistance of the Polytechnic of Wales. The pack was edited by Tony Curtis and Cliff James and contributers included Gillian Clarke, Jonah Jones and Roland Mathias.
