A prose piece with the title 'A Castle of Cloud', autograph, 1912, which appeared in a shorter version as 'Cloud Castle' in Edward Thomas's posthumously published collection Cloud Castle and Other Papers' (London, 1922) (ff. 1-6); typescript of the same by Mrs Beryl Thomas (ff. 7-14).

A compendium of texts,

A compendium, [late 15th cent. x early 16th cent.], of works on astrology, medicine, sayings, Brut y Saeson, a short chronicle, Lives of Saints David and Gwenffrewi, Bonedd y Saint and other texts. The manuscript was previously ascribed to Gutun Owain (see Daniel Huws, Medieval Welsh Manuscripts (Aberystwyth, 2000), p. 190).

A Cornish Dictionary,

A Cornish dictionary in the hand of Edward Lhuyd containing Cornish-English vocabulary and phrases, with some translations into Latin.
This is evidently the work referred to by Edward Lhuyd on p. 253 of the Archæologica Britannica: 'Looking over these Sheets of the Cornish Grammar; I find 1st. that I must recal the promise made of a Cornish-English Vocabulary. I have one by me, written about six years since, and have lately improv'd it with what Additions I could; But there being no room for it in this Volume ... it must be deferred to the next.'

A farmer holding a Patagonian conure (Cyanoliseus patagonus) by it's right wing. The farmer is holding a stick in his right hand on which the bird is perched. This may be the incident mentioned on page 148 of 'A Wider Sky' (Gomer1991). See also slide 4689/160.
