A 'Book of Quotations and General Remarks' or 'Cyfeiriadau Clasurol (Detholion)', containing extracts from, and notes on, classical and other sources, e.g. Homer, Euripides, Sophocles, Aeschylus, Virgil, Dante, John Milton, etc. The volume was originally used as a contributions book of a Workmen's Association, and some accounts for the period 1881 are preserved on the inside lower cover.

Records of the borough of Carmarthen,

A volume entitled on the cover 'The Records of the Corporate Borough of Carmarthen, during the reigns of Elizabeth, James I., Charles I., Oliver Cromwell, Charles II., James II., William & Mary, Anne, George I., and George II. Ad verbum et literam transcripta, ex tabulis publicis ab Alcuino C. Evans'. The volume contains transcripts of records from the original 'Book of Ordinances' preserved in the common coffer of the borough, the records dating from 1590 to 1764. According to the imprint on the title-page the work was compiled at Carmarthen between September 1851 and July 1853.

John Jones (1802-1863), Mrs Anne Griffith Jones (1852-1899), Dr Goronwy Jones (1881-1945), the Rev. Simon Jones (1879-1967) and the Rev. Rees Jenkin Jones (1835-1924) himself, together with estate records, 1620-1916, of the Clettwr estate, Cardiganshire, Cilgell Isaf estate, Carmarthenshire, and of premises in Aberdare, Glamorgan. Much of the material relates to the Unitarian cause in Wales.
