Speaks of his injury, praises the care he is receiving in the English hospital and states the German patients are treated just the same as the English - the English patients treat the Germans as equals.

This collection consists of war diaries, 1916-1918, of the 14th (Service Battalion), Royal Welsh Fusiliers. The diaries, with some entries written in the hand of Major Wynn Wheldon, give a day-to-day chronicle of the activities of the battalion on the Western Front including reports on operations and actions, particulars of casualties, etc.
