The Samuel Holland Manuscripts are the papers of Samuel Holland (1803-92), a pioneer of the North Wales slate industry and Liberal member of Parliament for the county of Merioneth from 1870 to 1885.
A collection comprising an account of a tour in Germany, 1869, and Spain, 1914; an account of the attempted French invasion of 1797, with drawings relating to the invasion; a farce entitled 'Thought Reading'; and an illustrated story entitled 'Perspective'.
