A page of an account of the journey from Lille to Freiburg, the remains of a letter or a diary, has been added.

Also a letter from Jack Jones of Rhiwbina, discussing his 'The man David' and 'Me and mine', "my publisher thinks it is a better book than my 'Unfinished journey' and he is going to publish it as soon as paper supplies will enable him to", and the state of Welsh theatre, "moribund ... London's dead donkeys follow each other on to the stage", Oct. 1944. Also some other papers, including a report on the occupation of installations NE of Leese [Kampfstoffabrik Leese chemical manufacturing plant], April 1945. This file mostly comprises a bundle originally labelled 'Wartime letters', although it also included some dating to his school and university days.

Original bundle of letters, and two cards, from Jean-Claude Gardin, 1 Feb. 1948-29 Dec. 1965, mainly 1948-1954, although many of the letters are incompletely dated. At least one of the letters was written from Beirut, and his address in Sept. 1953 was Villa Racurie, 76 rue de Sèvres, Paris 7.

Original bundle of letters from Robert Moore, 11 June 1951-1956. The writer only dates the letters, when dated at all, with the day of the week; the only dates are those on postmarks, or Woolley's note of receiving a letter. Also a letter from Woolley to Peter Storrs, that if he die Robert Moore is to have all his possessions 'here', and any credit at Riggs Bank.

Most are drafts, but include some fair copies. Many of the poems are on Christian themes. Most of the poems are in English, but a few, including 'Aderyn Mai' and at least three englynion, are in Welsh, including one composed entirely of vowels. Also at least one translation, 'God, in death sufficient'. Many of the poems re-use the backs of envelopes and other papers, including printed letters from W. Downing Evans as [secretary?] of the committee to promote a national testimonial to Rev. William Roberts ('Nevydd') (1866), and clerk of the Newport Union (1879).
