[Landscape, probably near Caernarfon]

A view across a landscape characterised by a patchwork of small fields seperated by stone walls. The sea is visible in the distance. Possibly taken from the hills between Caernarfon & Bangor and looking over the Menai towards Niwbwrch, the sands visible as a long low spit.

[Skyline, Parys Mountain.]

A contre jour view of Parys Mountain. In the distance can be seen the top of the ruined windmill outlined against the sky. In the foreground vegetation is visible.

[Penmon Cross IV]

This is a 10th century pillar cross seen here outside in situ in Penmon Park. To protect it from the ravages of time it has now been moved inside Pemnon Priory where it is on display.

A two storey farmhouse flanked by stone outbuildings. In the left foreground is a low rocky outcrop that gives shelter to a partly visible cottage.
