Another copy of no. 2826 with certain variations in spelling of place-names, etc., omitting the lists of Lady Day and Michaelmas tenants, but with the following additions:. Penard: the names of the customary tenants with the several rents they pay. Lonnon: customary rents there. Kitle: customary rents there; free rents there. Trewythva: customary rents there. The manor of Kilvey, a member of the said Seigniory: the demesne lands; leaseholders and tenants at will; the freeholders with the rents they pay. 'A Survey of the Seigniory or Lordship of Gower with the several members thereof in the county of Glamorgan begun the 27th of August, 1650, by Bussy Mansell, esq., John Price, esq., and George Billinghurst, gent., by virtue of a commission to these and others given by the Right Honourable Oliver Cromwell, Lord General of the Parliament Forces, which Survey was afterwards continued and perfected by the Perambulation of the said George Billinghurst being, assisted therein by some of the tenants and officers of the said Seigniory':. The Manor of Gower Anglicana: Boundaries; Landholders and tenants at will; Loughor; Swansey parish; the names of the freeholders, with rents: Parcell Clase; Parcell Mawre; Parcell Pentery; English shire in Langwick; Loughor parish; Llanridien parish; Swansey parish; Landilotalybont; Langenith; Knoylstone; Landewy; Pennard; Ilston; Bishopston parish. A rental of the Seigniory of Gower payable only at Lady Day. Rents payable at Michaelmas only. The manors, lordships, and barony held of the seigniory of Gower. Customs. The town of Swansey and the liberties thereof being a member of the said Seigniory leased and tenants at will. Free rents paid for several burgesses in the said town (arranged in streets: Goat Street, Above the Gate, The East Side, The East Side within the Gate, Castle Baily, The West Side of the Market, Wood Street the East side, The West Side of Wood Street, Fisher Street, Frog Street, Without the Gate, Crosse Street, Goate Street, and Maryes Street). The town of Swansey claimeth the inheritance of these lands following as given them by their charter. Gower Wallica and the manor of Subboscus and Supraboscus, member thereof: Supraboscus: Leaseholders and tenants at will. The names of the freeholders of the said manor with their several rents: Parcell Clase; Parcell Mawre; Parcell Pentery; Parcell Ran dwy Glydach; Llangwick; Well shire [sic] in Swansey parish; Well shire in Landilotalybont; Supraboscus. The manor of Oystermouth, a member of the seigniory of Gower: the demesne; leaseholders; the freeholders and the rent they pay. The manor of Pennard, a member of the seigniory of Gower: fees of Kittle, Llummnon and Trewydva; Park le Bruse or Parkey Price near the Castle. A volume containing minutes of the meetings of aldermen of the borough of Swansea recommending four fit persons in election to serve the office of portreeve, and minutes of the election by a majority of the burgesses of portreeve, common attornies, and sergeants at mace. Up to 1788 the minutes were largely written and all certified by Gabriel Powell, recorder. Thereafter most of the minutes are certified by Thomas Morgan as steward.
