Proffwydoliaethau Taliesin a Myrddin,

A manuscript in several 16th century hands, including that of John ap Rhys, comprising prophecies attributed to Merlin, Taliesin and others; poetry of Tudur Aled; pedigrees; the Divisions of the Lordship of Powys; and the Blessed Oil.
Various dates occur in the manuscript, for example 1541(p. 183) and 1588 (p. 219); other leaves were written temps Henry VIII and Elizabeth I.

Barddoniaeth Dafydd ap Gwilym,

Poetry of Dafydd ap Gwilym by a single scribe dating from the second half of the 15th century. There is also a fragment of material in Welsh relating to the governance of the manors, commotes, hundreds and counties in Wales, together with a list of kings from William the Conqueror to Henry VII, also in Welsh.
There are also three memoranda and letters regarding the manuscript which date from the late 19th century.

Llyfr cywyddau Siôn ap William ap Siôn,

A collection of cywyddau gathered from various sources by John Jones of Gellilyfdy.
Sources include manuscripts in the hands of Dafydd ap William, Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd and Wiliam Thomas ap Edward o Bodfari. The manuscript was written in three stages: from 1609 to 1610, at a later period but prior to 1619, and finally 1621.

Pedigrees,

Pedigrees and genealogies, including Gwehelyth Deheubarth; poetry of Lewys Glyn Cothi, Tudur Aled, Simwnt Fychan and others, including some englynion in English and Latin; the 'Compownd Manual'; and a text concerning the Caerwys Eisteddfod in 1524. Three scribes were involved in the writing of this manuscript, which dates from the second half of the 16th century.

Dares Phrygius

The first part of the manuscript dates from the mid 14th century and contains an early fragment of the text of Dares Phrygius in Welsh by the scribe known as the 'Anchorite'.
The second and third parts date from the early to mid 15th century and include vaticinatory prose, other texts such as The Life of Anna, and some triads.

Ancient laws,

A handbook of English law containing the following books: 'premier livre des personels plees'; 'Ie secunde des condiciouns de vileins'; 'Ie livre des disseisines'; 'Ie livre de mort dauncestre & primes de intrusiouns'.
The text is incomplete.

De contemptu mundi, etc.,

Petrarch's De Contemptu Mundi, with ff. 1 and 5 missing; Cincius Romanus's Latin translation of the Axiochus, with a preface addressed to Reginald, 'episcopus Harfordensis'.

Gramadegau a cherddi,

A manuscript partly in the hand of Simwnt Fychan comprising vocabularies; grammatical texts; texts on the rules of cynghanedd; poetry of Hywel Cae Llwyd (possibly in his hand) and others; and pedigrees.

Gwasanaeth y Fendigaid Fair,

The office of the Blessed Virgin Mary, translated from Latin by Dafydd Ddu Hiraddug; and part of a calendar.
The text agrees with, and supplies the lacunae in, the text of Peniarth MS 191.

Calendar,

A calendar, 1596, in the hand of Thomas Evans, giving additional entries to Mostyn MS 88. The manuscript also includes the Compot Manual and texts on astronomy, also in the hand of Thomas Evans.
According to a note on f. 54 this manuscript is a transcript of a manuscript by or belonging to 'E. D.'.

Barddoniaeth,

Poetry of Prydydd y Moch, Bleddyn Fardd and other poets of the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries, mostly written c. 1605 (p. 305).
Pp. 292-97 are apparently in the hand of Robert Vaughan of Hengwrt.

Barddoniaeth Lewis Glyn Cothi,

Poetry of Lewis Glyn Cothi, Guto'r Glyn, Siôn Cent, Tudur Aled, Iolo Goch, Hywel Cilan and others; and the Statute of Gruffudd ap Cynan, with William Salesbury's preface to the text.
Also included are two texts relating to Arthur. The first half of the manuscript appears to date from 1576 (p. 1).

Historical extracts,

A collection of historical extracts, including: a text modelled on H. Lloyd's 'Historie of Cambria'; Welsh laws; 'Incipiunt gesta Britonum a Gilda sapienti composita'; 'the descendants of Harbart fyts Roy base son to Henry I'; a letter from John Da. to his cousin Nicholas ap Meredith at Prestene; 'Convivium Philosophicum' in Latin, with English translation; and a dedicatory letter to James I of a work on the Early History of Britain in six books by John Lewis of Llynwene.

Bucheddau'r Saint,

A manuscript in the hand of Thomas Wiliems comprising the laws of Hywel Dda; extracts from the White Book of Hergest (Peniarth MSS 4 & 5); charters, including those relating to the inhabitants and free tenants of Anglesey, Caernarvonshire, Merionethshire and Bardsey; the Lives of Saints; and poetry.

Llyfr Dafydd Cayo,

Transcripts of the works of a number of poets, which include a compilation made by Dafydd Cayo in 1503.

Llyfr Edward ap Roger,

A collection of pedigrees and armorial bearings (coloured) in several 16th century hands.
The scribes include William Llŷn, Simwnt Fychan and Robert Vaughan.

Pump Llyfr Cerddwriaeth,

A manuscript in the hand of Roger Morys, Coed Talwrn, Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd comprising Pump Llyfr Cerddwriaeth; a transcript of a Grammar from the Red Book of Hergest; vocabularies; and Dosbarth Cerdd Dant.
