Nantgwnlle Parish. Gwastad Gwnda or Trefran is mentioned as being in the parish of Llanddewi Brefi from 1640 to 1797 and from 1797 to the present day in the parish of Llangwnlle or Nantgwnlle which parish was included in one of the Seven Cantreds of the Lordship Of Llanddewi Brefi from Edward VI time to 1799. See No. 24090 for the above Particulars. See also 'Lloyd Richards' where it states that Nantgunlley was in the Lordship Of Llanddewi Brefi, I P M Jenkin Lloyd of Llanfair Clydoge 1592.
