Manuscript and typescript copies of Wyn Griffith's English translation, 1940, of 'Distyll y Dail', a short story by W. J. Gruffydd. A related letter, January 1940, from W. J. Gruffydd is also included, together with drafts of a few poems and an address delivered at a school in Cardiff, St David's Day, 1940.

Early Welsh Music

Papers relating to early Welsh music and, in particular, to the 17th century Robert ap Huw manuscript (British Museum Add. MS. 14095). They include an article by Wyn Griffith, published in The Listener, 8 August 1934; a printed address by Arnold Dolmetsch entitled 'Ancient Welsh Music' (1935); related press cuttings, 1934-1935; letters from Arnold and Mabel Dolmetsch, 1934-1935; and a printed leaflet relating to the proposed formation of the Early Welsh Music Society, [1936].
