Reference is also made to Welsh poetry and manuscripts, and inscriptions on stones.

Viriamu Jones, Auberon Herbert, Archibald Primrose (Earl of Rosebery), Lewis Morris, Gilbert Murray, J. P. Mahaffy, Paul Meyer, Ernest Renan, Rowland Hill (to [his brother?] Arthur), and Edward Clodd.

Miscellaneous letters,

Letters, 1831-1853, addressed to various recipients and forwarded at a later date to John Rhŷs. Two letters, dated 1916 and 1925, were possibly forwarded to Myvanwy Rhys; an additional letter, 1953, was sent to Idris Foster by M. V. Taylor. Also included are letters, and fragments of letters, which are unsigned and undated.
