An eisteddfod essay by William Thomas ('Gwilym Mai') entitled 'Hanes y Cyhoeddiadau Misol Cymraeg o'u dechreuad ...', with the adjudication upon it by Thomas Price ('Carnhuanawc'). This essay was printed in Seren Gomer, March and April 1857.

Glamorgan collectanea of William Davies, Cringell, near Neath, classical scholar and historian (see The Journal of the Welsh Bibliographical Society, Vol. II, July 1916). The material includes Queries proposed [by William Davies] to the nobility gentry and clergy of Glamorganshire, with a view to illustrate the history of that county; two draft proposals for publishing the history of Glamorganshire, the second of them printed at Swansea in 1803, together with a prospectus and request for subscribers dated 19 July 1810; two letters, 20 September 1823 and 25 October 1823, from David Davis, Unitarian minister, Neath (son of David Davis, Castell Hywel) to John Montgomery Traherne giving the writer's reason for buying the manuscripts of William Davies and informing Traherne that if Thomas Rees would not prepare the material for publication Thomas Price ('Carnhuanawc') would be asked to do so.

A volume issued, 1828, to the antiqury Angharad Llwyd, Tyn-y-rhyl, Flintshire, for the collection of subscriptions towards St David's Welsh Church, Liverpool, but utilised by her as a commonplace and autograph book. Verse and prose entries, 1830-1853, mostly of a religious nature, include autograph poetry by John Jones (Tegid), Thomas Price (Carnhuanawc), and Bryan Waller Procter (Barry Cornwall), and entries by Sir John Bernard Bosanquet, Lady Charlotte Guest, Augusta Hall, Lady Llanover, Henry Hart Milman, David Pennant, William Owen[-Pughe], Thomas Raffles, Henry Raikes, John Bird Sumner, and Frances Wrangham. Also included is a letter of address, 1828, to Angharad Llwyd from the Rev. Robert Davies, perpetual curate of St David's Church (f. iii).
