A composite volume in the hand of Evan Evans (Ieuan Fardd) containing notes on the Statute of Rhuddlan by Lewis Morris (pp. 1-11); Welsh poetry with Latin translations (pp. 12-32) and further Welsh poetry, by Iolo Goch, Lewis Glyn Cothi, Guto'r Glyn, Hywel ap Dafydd ab Ieuan ap Rhys (Hywel Dafi) and others (pp. 237-408); notes on musical notation (pp. 33-84) and on 'the music of the antient Britons' (pp. 90-99); a poem to 'J. W. Notes on a chronicle, &c.

A manuscript, 1773-1774, in the hand of Evan Evans (Ieuan Fardd) containing notes on a Welsh chronicle from Adam to Cadwaladr Fendigaid (ff. 1-62), originally written, with notes, by John Jones, Gellilyfdy, in 1622 (see f. 1), and which seemingly includes Hanes Taliesin (ff. 26-48) (cf. Peniarth MS 111, p. 1); an account of a Latin manuscript of Brut Tysilio, etc., (ff. 63-72) 'which now belongs to Doctor Treadway Nash, near Bevere, Worcester, 1773, bought out of the library of the late Mr. Lewis Morris of Penbryn in Cardiganshire' (see f. 63); a copy of an Edward Lhuyd letter, including the inscription on the Eliseg stone (ff. 73-77); and various other extracts (ff. 78-95 verso). On f. 97 is a note by D[afydd] Ddu.

Brut y Tywysogion, etc.

An imperfect manuscript containing a Welsh vocabulary (Merth - ysgrynedig, and a few entries under Ch- ); 'Cronicl y Twysogion' ('Hyn adynnais yn dalfyr alhan o lyfr y Twysogion asgrifen[n]odh Cradog o Lan[n] Garrfan'); 'Hen hen[n]wau bagad o Brif dhinasoedh yr ynys hon, ar hen[n]wau sydh arnynt orig, a phwy ai gwnaeth hwynt'; 'Dwned'; 'Deg rhan gwahan[n]ieth Cristnogion y byd'; etc. The manuscript is in the same hand as Panton MS 68 (NLW MS 2034) pp. 33-48, which are dated 1650.
