A daybook (Tagebuch) of Elizabeth Mabel Bailey, J. P., of Gwernvale Cottage, Crickhowell, daughter of Joseph Russell Bailey, 1st baron Glanusk. The volume contains entries of family birthdays, and of numerous social engagements, 1879-1886, such as visits to London, Raglan, Pantygoitre, Llangattock, Glanusk Cricket Week, Abergavenny Races, Hunt Ball, and Horse Show, Brecon Bachelors' Ball, etc., etc.
