1 A writ returnable on 6 July, 5 Edward I, directed to the justiciar of Chester to hold an inquisition concerning the ejectment of Emma, widow of Griffith ap Madoc, from man's Overton and Eton,. 2 The inquisition taken by Guntelinus de Badelesmere, justiciar of Chester, at Fardon on Tuesday before the feast of St Margaret, 5 Edward I, by the oaths of Houel ap Lewelyn, Ingnon ap Lewelyn, Ioruerth ap Kenewrik, Ioruerth ap Griffith, Houa ap Phillip, Maddok ap Houel, Houa Waghan, Maddok Waghan, Kenewrik his brother, Kenewrik ap Yonas, Houa his brother, Oweyn ap Phillip, Blethin Woch, Blethin ap Maddoc, Gronou ap Sthel [sic], Kenewrik ap Lewelyn, Kenewrik ap Griffin, and Gervase ap Eyner.
