Devon, merchant, to Henry, Lord Herbert of Raglan of the manor of the borough of Chumley, with all rights, member and appurtenances of all his estate in the several messuages, etc., parcel of the manor of Chhumley in the several tenures of William Pennycott, Phillip Seare, Aligall younge, Frauncis Lawrence, William Lawrence, Agnes Downe, Edward Webbey and Thomas Snell, by virtue of Bargain and Purchase by William Pennycott from Trustees appointed by Parliamet for the sale of Delinquents' lands, the premises being forfeited to the Commonwealth for the Delinquency of Edward, Earl of Worcester, for the life of the Earl only.
