Sukhram and two others vakils of Januji Bhonsalah arrived here in Azimabad on the 9th of Rabi al-Avval, San7. He had brought with him a letter for me along with another letter addressed to you. I am sending a copy of the letter addressed to me as well as the envelope containing your letter. The vakils are staying here and I will wait for whatever orders I receive from you. -- Enclosure: Copy of the letter from Januji Bhonsalah received on 9th Rabi al-Avval, San 7. From Januji Bhonsalah to Mubariz al-Mulk Bahadur. -- Although nobody has any doubt about the friendship and cordiality that exists between us, in order to achieve complete harmony and happiness in our relations it is essential that our inner and outer feelings towards each other are the same. For this purpose I am sending Sukha Ram Naik as my vakil to settle some of the issues regarding the payment of chauth which remain unresolved between us. May God grant you the power to follow the path of sincerity, purpose and truth so that our relations with each other do not suffer. -- Previously I had sent Rughnath Pandit for the same purpose but nothing positive has been achieved so far. Now whatever my Vakil will convey to you it should be considered right and correct and the chauth, one fourth of the revenue, collected so far be sent to us. This will help to establish good relations between us.
