One hundred and thirty-five autograph letters and postcards, 1896-1897, written to George Eyre Evans in connection with his appeal for subscribers to his Vestiges of Protestant Dissent (Liverpool, 1897).
The names of almost all the writers appear in the published 'List of Subscribers'. The volume also contains an index of writers prepared by George Eyre Evans in January 1905.
