Letters from Frederic Courtenay Morgan, written mostly [?to] his mother but including one to his uncle and another to "Old John", a servant at Tredegar. The first of these letters was written aboard the Orinoco and all the others before Sebastopol during the famous siege. They give a valuable description of army life in the Crimean war and an account of the part played by 1st Battalion Rifle Brigade, in which the writer was lieutenant, in the battle of Inkerman.
