This section comprises general letters to O. M. Edwards, 1880-1920, many from prominent Welsh individuals (some congratulating him upon receiving a knighthood in January 1916), and groups of letters from the principals of the Welsh university colleges, 1884-1916, from Oxford dons, 1884-1917, from Welsh public figures,1885-1920, many of them personal friends of O. M. Edwards, and from many prominent Welsh poets and ministers of religion, 1886-1920.

Arranged into six series: general letters to O. M. Edwards, 1880-1920; letters from the principals of the colleges of the University of Wales, 1884-1916; letters from dons of the University of Oxford, 1884-1917; letters from friends and acquaintances, 1885-1920; letters from poets and ministers of religion, 1886-1920; and letters congratulating O. M. Edwards upon receipt of a knighthood in January 1916. The original order of these letters into files has been retained while cataloguing.
