Anglesey (personal and family news, news of acquaintances, financial matters, the appointment of [Robert] Southey as poet laureate, references to the war in Europe, e.g., the Austrian manifesto, the wounding of General Moreau, a proposed blockade of Tortosa, affairs in Sicily, etc., an invitation to recipient to attend a meeting at Manchester in connection with a society for converting Jews).
