Roberts by the author in September 1934 in recognition of the help he received in preparing the work (see f. i), with notes by R. D. Roberts and press cuttings, 1933-1938, relating to Sir Robert Jones added or tipped in on pp. 1-321 passim and inside back cover. Also included are notes and press cuttings, 1934-1938, relating to Jones's uncle and mentor, the osteopath Hugh Owen Thomas (pp. 10, 12, 28, 84, 320-1, 329), and Dame Agnes Gwendoline Hunt (inside front cover, p. 120).
