On p. 128 he wrote an unexpected note, beginning 'Roddiad natturiol oddiwrth dduw ac ni ellir i dysgu: klywed dan y dwr'. There are additions in the hand of Edward ap Roger (e.g. pp. 38, 62, 104), and many additions in the hand of Rhys Cain (e.g. pp. 26, 36, 55); some name sources, e.g. 'y llyfr coch o law Gutyn Owain' (p. 76). On p. 1 Robert Vaughan wrote: 'Llyfr o Achae Trevor o Drefalun yw hwn medd Rys Cain'. Tipped onto f. iv recto-verso and f. v are labels and notes of [19 cent.].
