The 'Manifesto for New Times', 1989, was a Communist Party draft strategy which was to replace The British Road to Socialism. The manifesto was launched on 3 June 1989. Prior to writing the Manifesto for New Times, ideas were discussed at a conference entitled 'Facing up to the future'.
