A small chest presented to Edgar Jones, Gareth Vaughan Jones' father, on being granted the Freedom of the Borough of Barry in 1950, together with a certificate marking the occasion, related press cuttings, photographs of Edgar, Annie Gwen, Gareth and Raymond Jones, a photograph of Gareth Jones' dog, and a letter from the University College of South Wales and Monmouthshire following the death of Edgar's brother, Raymond, during the Great War; together with an article by the depositor about Annie Gwen Jones.
