Biographical history
Michael Charles Webb was a plant biologist and forester and a founder member of Grŵp Canolbarth America Môn & Arfon (Môn & Arfon Central America Group), a local group of the Wales Nicaragua Solidarity Campaign, founded in 1986. As a result of these interests, he visited Nicaragua on two occasions (1987 and 1990), working on environmental projects and acting as an observer during the 1990 General Election. He was also active in promoting awareness of Nicaraguan and Central American issues as a member of the Central America Group and the Wales Nicaragua Solidarity Campaign. These concerns and interests are reflected in the nature of the papers accumulated by him.
